Project Coordinator – Agriculture and CSR

Nashik INR 3 - 5.5 LPA (Depending on the relevant experience)

About the Position

Responsibilities

  • Project DesignStudy existing cropping patterns, tree species, and farming practices in Nashik villages. Analyze the current value chain of farm and agroforestry products. Design sustainable agriculture and agroforestry projects aligned with local needs and conditions.
  • Project Documentation - Prepare detailed project reports (DPRs) outlining project objectives, strategies, and expected outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Consultation - Collaborate with government stakeholders and community members to assess the feasibility and acceptance of project designs.
  • Community Mobilization - Work with field coordinators to mobilize and engage farmers in project implementation. Assist in the formation and registration of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Producer Groups (PGs), and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).
  • Monitoring and Evaluation - Conduct regular field visits to monitor project progress and evaluate its impact. Ensure project activities are aligned with planned objectives and timelines.
  • Stakeholder Linkages - Facilitate linkages between SHGs, PGs, FPOs, and relevant government departments and other stakeholders.
  • Training and Capacity Building - Design training modules and organize training sessions on agriculture and agroforestry projects for project beneficiaries.

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

  • Post-graduate degree from a recognized university in Agriculture or Allied Fields.
  • Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Marathi (spoken and written).
  • Strong knowledge of agriculture practices and agroforestry.
  • Prior experience in project coordination, preferably in the agriculture sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with community members and government authorities.
  • Commitment to sustainable and socially responsible agriculture practices.

  • This position may involve frequent field visits within Nashik.

Salary: 300,000.00 - 550,000.00 per year
