Associate Manager - WASH and Menstrual Health

New Delhi(Delhi) INR 4.2 LPA - 5.5 LPA (Depending on the relevant experience)

About the Position

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Associate Manager to lead and manage our WASH & Menstrual Health projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and evaluating initiatives aimed at improving water, sanitation, hygiene, and menstrual health outcomes in target communities. This role requires strong project management skills, community engagement experience, and a deep commitment to social impact

Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning and Implementation:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for WASH & Menstrual Health initiatives.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to timelines, and maintain quality standards.
  2. Community Engagement:
    • Engage with community stakeholders, including local leaders, schools, healthcare providers, and beneficiaries.
    • Conduct needs assessments and baseline surveys to identify community needs and project priorities.
    • Facilitate community workshops, training sessions, and awareness campaigns on WASH and menstrual health.
  3. Monitoring and Evaluation:
    • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to measure project impact and outcomes.
    • Collect and analyze data to assess project effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting project achievements and lessons learned.
  4. Collaboration and Partnership:
    • Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies, non-profits, corporate partners, and other stakeholders.
    • Identify opportunities for collaboration and resource mobilization to enhance project reach and impact.
    • Represent BharatCares at relevant forums, conferences, and meetings.
  5. Capacity Building:
    • Train and mentor project staff, community workers, and volunteers to build local capacity in WASH and menstrual health.
    • Develop training materials, guidelines, and toolkits to support project implementation and sustainability.

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in managing WASH and/or menstrual health projects, preferably in a non-profit or development sector.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in community mobilization and participatory approaches.
  • Knowledge of government policies and programs related to WASH and menstrual health.
  • Familiarity with CSR projects and corporate partnerships.
  • Open for travel
  • Must have a Laptop
