About the Position

Responsibilities

The Senior Coordinator- Farm Livelihoods will be an integral part of our ongoing livelihood project partnerships with a few large companies under the CSR ambit. The incumbent will be handling a team of field coordinators working with farmers. More specific information of the role is outlined below:

• Design projects and develop proposals on agriculture and farm livelihoods
• Development of content for training modules and IEC materials on agriculture & farm livelihood projects
• Conduct impact assessment of various agriculture & farm livelihoods CSR projects.
• Conduct quality documentation of project activities, outcomes, and learnings through case studies, periodic progress reports, etc.
• Manage and support the ground-level team to deliver project activities on the ground
• Conduct regular review and planning meetings with the ground level team to review the progress on activities and outcomes
• Visit farmers on a periodic and sample basis across all clusters to assess and monitor the performance of the team
• Liaisoning with various local stakeholders for implementation of the program
• Ensure the spending is as per the project budget
• Any other task as assigned by the Project Lead

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

1. A minimum of 3 years of working experience in promoting agriculture and animal husbandry-based farm livelihoods
2. Demonstrate knowledge in regenerative agriculture, climate resilient agriculture, sustainable agriculture practices, soil test, crop assessment, dairy farming, farmers collectives (FPOs/FPCs), etc.
3. Experience in dealing with various private and government stakeholders working towards the promotion of farm livelihoods
4. Ability to demonstrate ownership, and work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment as part of a closely-knit team (showcasing patience, tenacity, and grace under pressure)
5. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
6. Post-Graduate degree from any recognized university in Agriculture or Allied Fields (Horticulture/Forestry/Agriculture/ Social Work)
