Previously he was a professor and held key Academic Administrative positions at the Indian Institute of Forest Management.

As Vice President & Regional Director of Southeast Asia, for Smile Train, the world’s largest cleft charity based in New York, he was an instrumental player in transforming 1.3 million lives through Cleft Lip and Palate surgeries across Southeast Asia, India, Africa, Central and West Asia. Furthermore, he was also a national office bearer of the Indian Medical Association for over two decades.
