The Mission of Eradicating the issue of Clean Water Accessibility with a Sustainable Vision of impacting Lakhs of Population and Combating the Crises of Drinking Water and Sanitation
Water is a necessity for sustaining life but if the quality of water is affected, it can be toxic where around 80% of the life-threatening diseases are water borne. India ranks 120th amongst 122 countries in terms of water quality. The depleting quality of water, over the years, has significantly affected the per capita availability of water. Presently, more than 163 million Indians lack access to safe drinking water. In order to address the issue of clean water accessibility, BharatCares has joined its efforts with the mission of eradicating the problem by installing a community-based Water filtration plant to provide clean and safe drinking water to the population.
Our Interventions:
The project seeks to establish a large-scale water filtration system which will be capable to cater whole village/urban slum/vulnerable community households altogether. The notion behind installing community-based water filters is not only to provide clean water but also to educate the community and stakeholders about the significance of clean water, sanitation and conservation of the drinking water, encouraging them to come together in the crises.
